INTERSECTIONS artists residencies at UHM
UHM Art Department's Intersections Visiting Artist and Scholar program promotes Hawai’i as a global center for the exchange of contemporary visual arts. We ask our invited artists to explore the relevance of artistic practice to inspire critical thinking and broaden perspectives on contemporary cultural issues. We believe that art is not only something to be seen, not only a topic or issue to be discussed, but also a culture and community to be realized through participation, cooperation, and active representation.
